Big Red Kickoff: Husker Nation's Big Red Kickoff, the LARGEST pep rally for Husker Nation in 2005 is scheduled for August 27th and 28th. What better way to kickoff the Husker football season as well the college football season than to have an event that the entire family can enjoy.

Events scheduled for the Big Red Kickoff include a two-day flag football tournament, a Big Red Husker Legends Challenge consisting of Husker Legends competing on the gridiron, a youth clinic featuring Husker Legends and former NFL players as the clinic directors, and a Celebrity Event highlighting local and Nebraska celebrities.
